Open loop or closed loop? Start with the design.
An open-loop system uses groundwater in the heat-exchange process. A closed-loop system circulates fluid through buried piping. They are different approaches, and the appropriate choice depends on the property, system design and applicable requirements.
The drilling is part of a larger system.
We focus on geothermal drilling and the ground-side work within the agreed project scope. Share your HVAC designer’s plans and requirements so responsibilities and connections between trades are clear.
Bring us in before the site gets crowded.
For new construction, early planning helps coordinate drilling with access, foundations and landscaping. Existing homes also need an access review and a discussion of the proposed drilling area. We do not promise a particular energy saving or tax incentive; those depend on the complete system and current eligibility.
